How many manufacturing process steps are required for producing zinc alloy wing corkscrew?

2025-10-28

This is a wine bottle opener made of zinc alloy material, the screw crafted from high-quality carbon steel,is manufactured into a spiral design through CNC machining, with the top optimized as a spiked shape. Our model No. Is H974,we welcome customers to inquire for pricing and request free samples.

The production process of this bottle opener primarily involves five key stages: die casting, material breaking, polishing and cleaning, electroplating and assembly.

This opener weighs of 135grams,with 3pcs of the rough accessories being relatively light in weight.Under the pressure of an 88-ton hot chamber die casting machine,it can fully meet the product requirements. The density of zinc alloy castings is closely related to the equipment’s working pressure, only within an appropriate range the quality of the product components can meet the requirements and find the most suitable cost control method. Therefore, using an 88-ton machine for this corkscrew can both ensure product quality and sufficiently reduce production costs.

This product’s mold design produces an output rate of approximately 3000 molds every eight hours.Compared to general single-cavity molds,it is 30-40% faster, saving more than double the production time.

After completion of the die-casting of this corkscrew,it assumes this shape, each component still retains gate marks and excess edges that need to be removed,so the subsequent production step is deburring, requiring workers to perform pure manual labor. This is because the corkscrew, garlic press, nut crackers, pizza cutter, ice cream scoop that we manufacture are all complex components.Pure manual work is necessary to ensure the product surfaces are not damaged, maintain subsequent processing quality, avoid increased scrap risks, and incur additional costs.Workers for this process need extensive experience and sufficient patience and they can provide numerous effective and feasible suggestions to help improve designs for complex-shaped products and mold designs. Therefore, these worker require long-term practice to gain experience and we have trained many such workers.

After removing burrs and edge corners from the wine corkscrew blanks, the production process proceed to polishing and cleaning operations. Our company possesses over ten cleaning machines and surface finish equipment, enabling us to maintain uniformity and consistency in product surface finishing. The biggest advantage of this operation is that all finished products will have uniform surface finishes.

The coatings on all components of the corkscrew typically utilize electroplating or painting methods, for this illustration,we will focus on electroplating.Electroplating processing is completed by an outsourced supplier, which requires highly specialized facilities, equipment and industry engineers with years of experience in their field, along with numerous basic technicians and experienced workers. It is a very complex process. We maintain long-term cooperation with suppliers who have 30 years of industry experience, ensuring product stability. This also ensures that various production issues encountered during manufacturing can be addressed quickly, professionally and efficiently. These arrangements help ensure the production cycles for items such as wine accessories, kitchenware and corkscrews, while also supporting customers’ sales plans.

The entire corkscrew has reached its final process, which is assembly.First,we classify all processed semi-finished parts by component type.Quality Control (QC) personnel conduct preliminary inspections to confirm that these semi-finished parts meet all product specifications for functionality, color and surface quality.Qualified and defective parts are then separated and managed individually.Inspection reports are generated and submitted to both the Production Department and Warehouse Department.Following the established Product Specification Manual, qualified semi-finished parts are stored in inventory and subsequently enter the production line for assembly.

After production completion, finished products undergo a secondary inspection to confirm that product quality meets specified standards.Production batch numbers and customer identifiers are marked, followed by comprehensive packaging operations.Upon completion of the final inspection of the packaged finished products, they are transferred to the finished goods warehouse, where they await customer notification for shipment.
